Manufactured from fine-grain solid carbide in grade KCP15A and coated with AlTiN via a PVD process, this tip delivers wear resistance and heat tolerance in demanding cutting environments. It features a 180-degree point angle, helical flute geometry, and an HPG insert geometry profile. The cutting diameter is 1.0000 inches with a functional length of 0.5000 inches and an overall projection of 0.7114 inches. Installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals, this tip uses a clamp-style insert holding method and fits the ZD insert seat size.
