Designed in the KTFST series, this tip features a solid carbide construction with a fine grain material grade and a PVD-applied AlTiN coating for extended wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures. The 8.00 mm cutting diameter, 140-degree included point angle, and HPL insert geometry make it well suited for demanding hole-making operations. Coolant-through capability channels cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge, improving chip evacuation and thermal management. This replaceable tip is intended for drilling applications in stainless steel and other M-group workpiece materials.
