The KENNAMETAL 6366054 is a round milling insert carrying ISO designation RCGT190600SGF and manufactured to the KCSM40 grade. This solid carbide insert features a PVD-applied dual-layer TiAlN and TiN coating, a 25-degree positive rake angle, and a GF chip breaker geometry. The round (RCGT) shape provides a full 360-degree included angle with four usable cutting edges per insert. With a 0.25-inch thickness and a 0.75-inch inscribed circle diameter, it is designed for high-performance face milling and shoulder milling operations on difficult-to-machine materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, aerospace, and energy sectors are the primary installers.
This insert is rated for primary workpiece materials classified as Steel (P), Stainless Steel (M), and Superalloys and Titanium (S). The positive rake and chamfered-plus-honed cutting edge style reduce cutting forces and improve surface finish on these demanding materials. The neutral hand orientation makes it compatible with both left- and right-hand tooling setups. It is designed for use in KSRM cutter series bodies and conforms to both ANSI code RCGT64SGF and ISO code RCGT190600SGF. Screw-style insert holding keeps the insert secure under the interrupted and continuous cuts typical in production milling environments.
Designed for use with KSRM series milling cutter bodies. Conforms to ANSI standard RCGT64SGF and ISO standard RCGT190600SGF. Intended for machining Steel, Stainless Steel, Superalloys, and Titanium workpiece materials.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Fully power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or replacing any insert. Use the correct Torx or hex key driver specified by the cutter body manufacturer to engage the insert screw - do not overtighten or use impact tools. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surfaces for chips or debris before placing the new insert to ensure proper seating and runout accuracy.
