The KENNAMETAL 6113322 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding machining environments. Built to KENNAMETAL Series UJDE specifications, it features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and 6 right-hand spiral flutes with a close pitch and high helix angle of 38 degrees. The cutting end is AlTiN coated via PVD process, providing thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting hard and abrasive materials. With a 4 inch length of cut and 6.5 inch overall length, this extra-long end mill suits deep-cavity and long-reach finishing passes. It is centercutting and configured as a single-end tool with a straight-cylindrical shank.
This end mill is intended for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its extra-long reach and submicron carbide substrate make it well suited for aerospace, die and mold, and precision machining applications where surface finish and dimensional accuracy in deep features are critical. The AlTiN coating performs well at elevated cutting temperatures. Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholders.
Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholders. Designed for finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials as designated by material codes P, M, S, and H.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with rotating cutting tool setup. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is disabled before handling or mounting the end mill. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully and concentrically in the toolholder before tightening to the toolholder manufacturer torque specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning any cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear and reduces surface finish quality on this class of finishing tool.
