The KENNAMETAL 6113266 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for finishing operations in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 6-flute, single-end design carries a 0.75 inch mill diameter and a 0.19 inch corner radius, producing controlled edge conditions that reduce chipping on difficult workpiece materials. At 5.5 inches overall length with a 3 inch length of cut, it handles deep-reach finishing passes without sacrificing rigidity. AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting speeds. The submicron carbide grade and UJDE series geometry are matched to right-hand cutting with a close pitch, high-helix configuration suited to aggressive chip evacuation in tough alloys.
This end mill is intended for CNC machining centers where precision finishing of steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard material workpieces is required. The straight-cylindrical, 0.75 inch shank fits directly into standard ER collet chucks as well as KENNAMETAL HC hydraulic sleeves in the HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 inch bore range and HC 20M through HC 32M metric sleeves with inch bores, including HC-HSK Form A holders. The long-length geometry and centercutting capability allow plunge entry and extended-reach side milling in a single tool. Material removal classification is finishing, making it appropriate for final-pass dimensional work and contoured surface profiles.
Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholders. The 0.75 inch straight-cylindrical shank also fits standard ER and milling chucks sized for 3/4 inch shank tooling. Rated for primary workpiece material codes P, M, S, and H covering steel, stainless steel, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician following standard toolholder torque and runout verification procedures. Confirm the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in E-stop before loading or removing the tool. Verify holder bore cleanliness and shank seating before tightening; contamination in hydraulic or collet holders causes runout that shortens tool life on hard materials. Consult the machine tool builder guidelines and the toolholder manufacturer specifications for clamp force and axial stop position.
