The KENNAMETAL 6113265 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for finishing operations in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built to the UJDE series specification, it features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, 6 flutes with a right-hand spiral and right-hand cutting direction, and a 0.12 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection when running at elevated surface speeds. With a 3 inch length of cut and 5.5 inch overall length, this is a long-reach tool suited for deep-pocket and shoulder milling where standard-reach end mills fall short.
This end mill targets finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its submicron carbide grade and close-pitch flute geometry make it appropriate for CNC machining centers running high surface footage in aerospace, die and mold, and precision manufacturing environments. The straight-cylindrical 3/4 inch shank is compatible with hydraulic tool holding systems including HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A holders. The centercutting geometry supports direct plunge entry when required by the operation.
Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A tool holders. Designed for finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per KENNAMETAL material codes P, M, S, and H.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Verify spindle is fully stopped and machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Confirm shank seating depth and runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide tools. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and toolholder manufacturer torque guidelines when clamping hydraulic sleeves.
