The KENNAMETAL 6113262 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding machining environments. Built on the UJDE series platform, it features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, 3 inch length of cut, and a 0.0300 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge. The 6-flute, right-hand spiral geometry paired with a high helix angle of 38 degrees promotes smooth chip evacuation and surface finish quality. An AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life when cutting abrasive and heat-generating materials. This end mill is single-end, centercutting, and runs on a straight cylindrical shank. Licensed machinists and CNC tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers.
This end mill is engineered for close-pitch finishing on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It fits applications where tight corner radii and long reach are required, such as deep-cavity mold work, die profiling, and finish passes on hardened workpieces. The 5.5 inch overall length provides extended reach without requiring a custom extension. The submicron carbide grade supports rigidity at higher surface footage typical in hard-material finishing programs.
Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 Hydraulic Sleeves Inch with Inch Bores, HC 20M through HC 32M Hydraulic Sleeves Metric with Inch Bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholding systems. Designed as an OEM-specification end mill within the KENNAMETAL UJDE series for use in CNC machining centers accepting a 3/4 inch straight cylindrical shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician familiar with end mill toolholding systems. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool change is performed per the machine tool manufacturer lockout procedure before handling the cutter. Secure the shank to the recommended minimum engagement depth in the toolholder to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Inspect the corner radius and flute edges for chips or coating damage before each use, as solid carbide tooling is brittle and sensitive to improper handling.
