The KENNAMETAL 6113208 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding metalworking applications. It carries a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 0.12 inch corner radius, and six right-hand spiral flutes arranged in a close pitch configuration. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection when cutting steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and hard materials. At 4.5 inches overall length with a 2 inch length of cut, this single-end centercutting tool handles both plunge and peripheral milling. The submicron carbide grade and 38-degree high helix support tight-tolerance finishes on difficult workpiece materials.
This end mill is built for finishing passes on steel, stainless steel, titanium, superalloys, and hard materials in CNC machining centers. The UJDE series geometry is suited for high-speed milling applications where surface finish and tool life are priorities. Compatible toolholders include HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A holders. It installs in a standard 3/4 inch straight cylindrical shank seat and is sized for both horizontal and vertical machining setups.
Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholding systems. Accepts a 3/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. Intended for finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the clamping mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing the cut, as excessive runout reduces tool life and surface finish quality on finishing operations.
