The KENNAMETAL 6086515 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking applications. It features a 3/4-inch cutting diameter with a 1-inch length of cut, a 3/4-inch shank diameter, and a 3-inch overall length. The four-flute, spiral-flute geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating from the KC633M material grade provides thermal resistance and extends tool life when cutting ferrous materials. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be plunged directly into a workpiece for slot milling and full-width cuts.

This end mill is intended for milling steel, stainless steel, and cast iron in production and maintenance environments. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation make it compatible with standard CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. The centercutting capability supports both peripheral and plunge milling operations. No coolant-through capability, so external coolant or air blast should be used to manage heat and chip removal when operating at higher feed rates or in deep pockets.

Installation Notes
