The KENNAMETAL 6086384 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and hard materials. With a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) cutting diameter and a 2-flute, spiral flute geometry at a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and clean edge profiles in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions. It is a right-hand cut, right-hand flute, single-end, centercutting design, allowing plunge entry into workpieces. Machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC operators use this end mill for slot milling, profile milling, and finish passes in tight geometries.
This end mill is suited for small-feature milling operations in job shops, production machining environments, and toolroom applications. Its compact diameter and 3/8 inch length of cut make it well matched for narrow slots, small pockets, and detailed contour work in steel and stainless components. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. Material grade KC633M supports demanding cutting conditions in these material families.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, and cast iron (material codes P, M, and K). Part of the KENNAMETAL 2SE series.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with cutting tool handling and CNC or manual mill operation. Secure the shank fully in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the machine manufacturer specification before cutting. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use. Follow all applicable shop safety procedures and machine guarding requirements when operating.
