The KENNAMETAL 5641110 is a TNMG331MP series turning insert in grade KCM15B, part of the KENLOC tooling system. The insert is manufactured from solid carbide with a multilayer MTCVD-applied TiCN plus Al2O3 coating for wear resistance and thermal stability during interrupted and continuous cuts. The triangular 60-degree insert geometry provides six usable cutting edges per insert, maximizing tool life in high-volume turning applications. With a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a 3/16-inch thickness, and a 1/64-inch corner radius, this insert is engineered for roughing and medium machining operations on steel and stainless steel workpieces.

This insert is designed for turning, facing, and boring operations on steel (ISO P) and stainless steel (ISO M) workpieces, with grade characteristics offering moderate-to-high wear resistance combined with toughness. The MP chip breaker geometry is optimized for roughing and medium machining passes where chip control is critical.
