The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape delivers strong cutting-edge support, while the chamfered and honed edge prep reduces chipping under interrupted or variable-load cuts. With four usable cutting edges and a negative rake, this insert maximizes tool life per unit in roughing and medium-machining applications on steel and stainless steel. Installation Notes
