The KENNAMETAL 5591912 is a solid carbide turning insert with an ANSI insert code of WNMG332MP and ISO code WNMG060408MP, belonging to the KENLOC series. It features a multilayer CVD coating — TiCN, Al2O3, and TiOCN — applied via MTCVD process and designated grade KCM25B. The 80-degree trigon shape (W) provides six cutting edges per insert. With a negative rake angle of 6 degrees, negative side clearance, and a chamfered and honed cutting edge, this insert is engineered for high toughness in steel cutting and moderate wear resistance in stainless steel applications.
