It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape and a multilayer CVD coating — TiCN, Al2O3, and TiOCN applied via MTCVD process — engineered for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, and superalloys including titanium. The inscribed circle measures 3/8 inches (0.3750 inches), the corner radius is 1/64 inch (0.0156 inches), and insert thickness is 5/32 inch (0.1563 inches). With a positive rake angle of 15 degrees and honed cutting edge style, this insert is designed for high-toughness performance on P-group steels and moderate wear resistance on M-group stainless steel applications.

Installation Notes
