The KENNAMETAL 5534231 is a solid carbide indexable drill insert in the SPGX style, designed for use in compatible indexable drill bodies in metalcutting applications. It carries the KCU40 manufacturer grade and features a PVD-applied TiN and TiAlN coating for wear resistance and thermal stability during high-speed drilling operations. The square insert shape with an 11-degree relief angle supports clean chip evacuation and controlled cutting geometry.
