The KENNAMETAL 5352356 is a ceramic corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in superalloys and titanium. It features a 3/8-inch mill diameter, a 0.047-inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a high helix angle. The SiAlON ceramic substrate delivers the thermal resistance needed to maintain cutting performance at elevated temperatures common in aerospace and precision machining applications. With an overall length of 2.5 inches and a length of cut of 9/32 inches, this single-end mill is suited for both roughing and finishing passes where tool life and edge stability matter most.

This end mill is designed for milling superalloys and titanium in high-performance manufacturing environments, including aerospace, power generation, and medical component machining. It fits setups requiring extended reach, with a 3/4-inch reach length and a neck diameter of 0.360 inches. The straight cylindrical shank is compatible with HC-HSK Form A toolholding systems. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Confirm the toolholder bore and retention system are compatible with the 3/8-inch straight cylindrical shank before mounting. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before loading or removing the tool. Ceramic end mills are brittle relative to carbide — avoid interrupted cuts without adequate setup rigidity and do not exceed recommended run-out tolerances for the toolholder.
