The KENNAMETAL 5351907 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding metal removal and finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and hard materials. Built on the UJDE series platform, it features a 3/4-inch mill diameter, a 0.12-inch corner radius, and six flutes with a high helix angle for efficient chip evacuation. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The Safe-Lock shank design resists pullout under aggressive feed rates. At 4 inches overall length with a 1.625-inch length of cut, this end mill suits deep-reach finishing passes in production machining and job-shop environments. Installation is handled by CNC machinists and toolroom professionals.
The 5351907 is designed for finishing applications in close-pitch cutting scenarios on steel, stainless steel, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials. It is centercutting, right-hand flute, right-hand cut, with a spiral flute type and no chipbreaker. Compatible toolholding systems include HC 1/2 to HC 1 1/4 Hydraulic Sleeves Inch with Inch Bores, HC 20M to HC 32M Hydraulic Sleeves Metric with Inch Bores, HC-HSK Form A, and Hydraulic Chuck Standard Line Inch KM63XMZ.
Compatible toolholding systems include HC 1/2 to HC 1 1/4 Hydraulic Sleeves Inch with Inch Bores, HC 20M to HC 32M Hydraulic Sleeves Metric with Inch Bores, HC-HSK Form A, and Hydraulic Chuck Standard Line Inch KM63XMZ. Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials per KENNAMETAL material codes P, M, S, and H.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and all motion axes locked out per shop safety protocols. Use the appropriate torque specifications and clamping procedures recommended by the toolholder manufacturer for Safe-Lock shank retention. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping before initiating a cut. Consult the applicable cutting data tables for feeds, speeds, and axial depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material and machine capability.
