The KENNAMETAL 5350324 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding materials. It features a 12 mm cutting diameter, a 26 mm length of cut, and a 0.75 mm corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in hard-to-machine workpieces. The six-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a high helix angle improves chip evacuation and surface finish quality. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. This end mill is used by machinists and tool room technicians running CNC mills and machining centers in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is engineered for finishing cuts in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials including hardened steels. Its close-pitch, six-flute configuration suits applications where fine surface finish and tight dimensional tolerances are required. The straight cylindrical shank is compatible with ER single angle standard collets, making it straightforward to set up in standard toolholding systems. The centercutting design allows plunge entry where required. It is a single-end tool from the UJDE series, built with submicron carbide grade for improved toughness and edge retention in difficult cutting conditions.
Designed for use with ER single angle standard collets. Intended for CNC milling applications in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Part of the KENNAMETAL UJDE series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Confirm collet size matches the 12 mm shank diameter before clamping. Follow the machine tool manufacturer torque specifications for the collet nut and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut.
