The KENNAMETAL 4176065 is a solid carbide grooving insert designed for external grooving and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to the Top Notch series standard, this insert features a KCU10 grade substrate with an AlTiN PVD coating, providing excellent wear resistance and thermal stability at elevated cutting temperatures. The insert is configured for left-hand cutting with a 3.96 mm cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 3.81 mm. It uses a clamp-style holding method and seats into compatible Top Notch toolholders. This insert is installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
