The KENNAMETAL 4176019 is a carbide threading insert designed for cutting Acme thread forms at 10 threads per inch (TPI). It carries a PVD-applied aluminum titanium nitride (AlTiN) finish that improves wear resistance and thermal stability during threading operations. The insert belongs to Kennametal's Top Notch series and is configured for right-hand, internal and external thread cutting. With an included angle of 29 degrees and a corner radius of 0.005 inches, this insert is geometry-specific to Acme thread profiles.
