The KENNAMETAL 4151794 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill designed for precision hole-making in metalworking applications. Built to DIN 6537K standards, it features a 140-degree point angle and a multilayer TiAlN coating that extends tool life in demanding materials. The 2.00 mm diameter with a straight-cylindrical shank and right-hand spiral flute geometry makes it a reliable choice for machine shops, maintenance technicians, and production drilling operations requiring consistent accuracy in small-diameter holes.
This drill is suited for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and other rotating spindle equipment. It performs in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous materials. With a flute-to-diameter ratio of 5xD and a maximum drilling depth of 14.00 mm, it is appropriate for short, accurate holes in tight-tolerance workpieces. The tapered web configuration supports chip clearance and point strength during entry.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement drill conforming to DIN 6537K for use in standard straight-shank toolholders, collet chucks, and drill chucks accepting a 4.00 mm shank diameter.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians using standard drill chucks or collet systems. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Confirm shank seating and runout before beginning a drilling cycle. Follow applicable shop safety practices and machine manufacturer guidelines for small-diameter carbide tooling.
