The KENNAMETAL 4151660 is a screw machine length (stub length) drill bit designed for high-precision drilling in metal fabrication, machining, and production environments. Built from solid carbide with a multilayer TiAlN coating at the tip, it delivers superior wear resistance and heat dissipation compared to high-speed steel alternatives. The 140-degree split point reduces thrust and walking on entry, making it well-suited for drilling into hard and abrasive materials. At 2.90 mm in diameter with a 58.00 mm overall length, this bit fits compact setups where a shorter, stiffer tool reduces deflection. It is sized to DIN 6537K standards and installed by machinists and CNC operators.

This drill bit is intended for stub-length drilling applications where rigidity is a priority over reach. The 2-flute regular spiral configuration handles chip evacuation in a wide range of workpiece materials.
