The KENNAMETAL 4149627 is a taper length drill bit built for precision drilling in tough materials. It is manufactured from solid carbide in the KC7325 material grade and carries a multilayer TiAlN coating that resists heat and wear during high-speed cutting operations. The 140-degree standard point geometry reduces thrust and centers the bit cleanly on entry. With an overall length of 94 mm (3.75 inches) and a flute length of 56 mm (2.2047 inches), this bit handles applications requiring reach beyond standard jobber-length tooling. It features a straight cylindrical shank, right-hand spiral flutes, and coolant-through capability. Licensed machinists, tool and die makers, and precision drilling technicians are the primary users.
This drill bit is suited for production and maintenance machining environments where consistent hole quality in hardened steels, stainless alloys, cast iron, and similar materials is required.
