The KENNAMETAL 4149307 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill designed for high-performance drilling in demanding metalworking applications. It features an 11.40 mm diameter, a 140-degree point angle, and a multilayer TiAlN coating that resists heat and wear during high-speed cutting cycles. The overall length is 118.00 mm (4.6457 inches) with a 71.00 mm (2.7953 inch) flute length and a straight cylindrical shank measuring 12 mm (0.4724 inches) in diameter. A tapered web configuration and regular right-hand spiral flute geometry promote chip evacuation and reduce cutting forces. Coolant-through capability supports extended tool life in difficult materials.
This drill is suited for production drilling in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. It fits standard machining centers, CNC drill presses, and manual drilling equipment that accept straight-shank tooling. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians.
