Ground to a 140-degree point angle with a multilayer TiAlN coating, it delivers consistent entry geometry and extended tool life when drilling through ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.4063 inches in diameter, and the overall length is 3.2283 inches (82.00 mm). Two right-hand spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently, and coolant-through capability supports through-tool flood or mist cooling at high spindle speeds. This drill is suited for use by machinists and tooling professionals operating CNC machining centers and drill presses.
Rated for primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous alloys, the 4149225 conforms to DIN 6537K specification.
