Manufactured in the A4 series and graded KCU25, this insert features a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) AlTiN coating that improves wear resistance and tool life in interrupted cuts and hard-material applications. The neutral hand orientation suits a broad range of standard grooving toolholders. With a cutting width of 0.0787 inches and a maximum depth of cut of 0.067 inches, it is suited for fine, controlled groove profiles where dimensional accuracy is critical. The GMP chip breaker geometry promotes effective chip control at the cutting edge.
This insert is intended for use in metal-cutting applications where groove width consistency and surface finish are priorities.
