The KENNAMETAL 4079263 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built to the UADE series specification, it features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter with a 0.03 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. This end mill is centercutting and capable of both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool, making it a practical choice for machinists working on tight schedules.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The short flute length and extended reach design make it effective in applications where rigidity is critical and tool deflection must be minimized. It is compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, HC-HSK Form A toolholders, and the Hydraulic Chuck Standard Line Inch KM63XMZ. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard hydraulic chuck and collet systems used in CNC machining centers.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the toolholder manufacturer torque and runout specifications. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the tool. Verify shank seating depth and runout before initiating a cut. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool, so external coolant or air blast should be used where required by the application.
