The KENNAMETAL 4067274 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built to the HPHV series standard, it features a 0.75 inch mill diameter, a 1.5 inch length of cut, and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.0200 inch chamfer width. The AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life when cutting ferrous and hard materials at elevated temperatures. With four variable-index flutes and a right-hand cutting direction, it is suited for both roughing and finishing passes. Machinists and CNC operators working with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials will find this tool ready for a wide range of milling operations.
This end mill is rated for shouldering, slotting, ramp-down, helical interpolation, drill mill, plunging, and recessing operations. Its centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. The Weldon flat shank provides secure tool holding in standard Weldon-style chucks and collet holders. The 4.0 inch overall length provides adequate reach for most production milling setups in vertical and horizontal machining centers running steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard-grade workpiece materials.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully into the holder and tighten the set screw against the flat to prevent axial pullout during high-feed passes. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, and confirm cutting parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material and machine rigidity.
