The KENNAMETAL 4067259 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. Built to the HPHV series standard, it features a 5/8 inch mill diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.09 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The AlTiN PVD coating provides oxidation resistance and thermal hardness retention, making this tool well-suited for dry or semi-dry cutting at elevated speeds. A Weldon flat shank ensures positive clamping in the holder. Machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments rely on this tool for both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup.
This end mill is engineered for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials. It is a single-end, right-hand cutting, right-hand flute tool with a spiral flute geometry and normal pitch. The extended reach and long length type make it suitable for applications requiring access to deeper pockets or features without sacrificing rigidity. Compatible toolholder forms noted in product data include EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A adapters. It is appropriate for use on vertical and horizontal machining centers in both job shop and production environments.
Compatible toolholder forms listed in product data include EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A. Primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials (ISO material codes P, M, K, H). Shank diameter is 5/8 inch, matching standard 5/8 inch bore end mill holders with Weldon flat drive.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or tool-and-die professionals. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool. Seat the Weldon flat fully against the holder set screw and torque the set screw to the holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before committing to a production cut, particularly given the extended reach geometry.
