The KENNAMETAL 4050765 is a solid carbide turning insert in the SPG422 geometry, grade KCU10, coated with TiAlN via a PVD process. It carries a 1/2 inch inscribed circle, a 1/8 inch thickness, and a 1/32 inch corner radius on a 90-degree square shape with a flat-top chip breaker. The KCU10 grade delivers high wear resistance balanced with toughness, making it well suited for interrupted and continuous cuts in steel and stainless steel.
