The KENNAMETAL 4050466 is a CNMG642MS turning insert in grade KCU25, designed for indexable tooling systems used in CNC turning, facing, and boring operations. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or toolroom technicians following standard indexable-insert change-out procedures. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or indexing the insert. Ensure the insert pocket and seating surfaces are clean and free of chips before clamping. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque specifications for the clamp screw; do not over-torque, as carbide inserts are brittle and can fracture under excess clamp load.
