The KENNAMETAL 4050420 is a solid carbide turning insert with an AlTiN PVD coating, ANSI designation CPGT3252HP, and ISO designation CPGT09T308HP. It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape, a 0.375 inch inscribed circle, and a 0.0313 inch corner radius. The KCU25 grade delivers moderate wear resistance and toughness, making it well-suited for finishing operations. With a positive rake angle of 15 degrees and a honed cutting edge, this insert is designed for controlled, low-force cutting in CNC turning, facing, and boring applications. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators on screw-on style toolholders.
