The KENNAMETAL 4047742 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding material applications. With a 5/16-inch (0.3125-inch) mill diameter and a 0.03-inch corner radius, this tool produces accurate edge profiles while reducing stress concentration at corners. The 4-flute, AlTiN-coated design supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool, making it well suited for shops running steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials. The submicron carbide grade and high-helix geometry of the HPHV series deliver thermal resistance and chip evacuation efficiency at elevated cutting speeds.

This end mill is built for CNC machining centers running ferrous and hard-material workpieces. It is rated for primary use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard material (ISO material codes P, M, K, and H).
