The KENNAMETAL 4046383 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. Built to the UCDE series specification, it features a 10 mm cutting diameter, a 22 mm length of cut, and a 0.51 mm corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, making this tool well-suited for dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. With five flutes and a high-helix spiral geometry, it is engineered to balance chip evacuation with surface finish quality. Machinists and CNC operators working in production environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is intended for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials. Its long-length-of-cut geometry supports deeper axial engagement in roughing and finishing passes alike. The straight cylindrical shank is compatible with ER single angle standard collets for secure, concentric clamping. The single-end, right-hand cutting configuration is standard for CNC machining centers running conventional or climb milling operations. This tool is suitable for both job shop and production floor environments where tight tolerances and consistent tool life are required.
Designed for use with ER single angle standard collets. Suitable for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials per ISO material codes P, M, K, and H. Part of the KENNAMETAL UCDE series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut to the machine manufacturer's specification using a calibrated torque wrench. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning any cut cycle.
