Product Description

The KENNAMETAL 4046364 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. The cutter measures 10 mm in diameter with a 2 mm corner radius, a 15 mm length of cut, and a 76 mm overall length. The AlTiN PVD coating provides heat and wear resistance suited to dry or semi-dry cutting. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a high helix angle and normal pitch promote chip evacuation while supporting both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank fits standard ER collet systems.

This end mill is built for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard materials in industrial and toolroom applications. The submicron carbide grade and extended-reach geometry — with a 30 mm reach length and a 9.40 mm neck diameter — make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations where tool access is restricted. The centercutting configuration allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes should be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per facility safety procedures. Seat the shank fully and evenly in an ER collet of the correct bore size and torque the collet nut to the collet manufacturer specification. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or damage before each use. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; apply coolant externally if required by the operation.
