The KENNAMETAL 4046358 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for aggressive material removal in ferrous and hard materials. Built on the F3AS series platform, it features a 4 mm cutting diameter, a 0.25 mm corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a medium helix angle of 35 degrees. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. At 58 mm overall length with a 5 mm length of cut, this is a long-reach configuration suited for deeper pocketing and slotting passes where tool rigidity is critical. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes must be performed with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in an e-stop or locked-out state per applicable machine guarding procedures. Seat the Weldon flat against the toolholder setscrew and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut. Do not exceed the rated length of cut when programming depth-of-cut passes, as overloading the flute length accelerates tool wear and risks breakage.
