The KENNAMETAL 4046292 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding material applications. Part of the UCDE series, it features a 6 mm diameter, 13 mm length of cut, and five flutes with a 38-degree helix angle. The variable index geometry reduces harmonic vibration during cuts, improving surface finish and tool life. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection, making this end mill well-suited for dry and near-dry machining environments. Single-end configuration with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. Material grade is KCPM15, a submicron carbide substrate optimized for hardened and difficult-to-machine materials.

This end mill is designed for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and hardened materials in precision machining environments. Typical applications include profiling, slotting, and finishing operations on CNC machining centers and mills. The 6 mm shank diameter matches the cutter diameter for direct collet or end mill holder mounting. At 57 mm overall length, it fits standard tooling setups without requiring extended-reach adapters. Not centercutting — plunge entry is not supported. Coolant-through is not available on this model.
