The KENNAMETAL 4045146 is a solid carbide turning insert in VNGP3305 geometry, manufactured under the KENLOC series with a KCU10 grade designation. It features a PVD-applied TiAlN coating that delivers high wear resistance across a range of cutting conditions. The insert carries a 35-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a neutral hand orientation, a 0.008 inch corner radius, and a 0.375 inch inscribed circle diameter. With four usable cutting edges and a negative rake and clearance configuration, it is suited for productive material removal in turning, facing, boring, back turning, and back boring operations. Licensed machinists and CNC lathe operators are the typical users.

This insert is designed for medium machining chip breaker applications.
