The KENNAMETAL 4034927 is a solid carbide trigon milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation WOEJ090512SRGD in manufacturer grade KCPK30. It is a double-sided, right-hand insert designed for use in face milling and high-feed milling operations on machining centers and milling machines. The insert features a CVD multilayer coating of TiN, TiCN, and Al2O3, delivering wear resistance and thermal protection across a wide range of cutting conditions. With six usable cutting edges and a positive rake angle of 15 degrees, it supports productive and economical tooling in high-volume production environments. Install and replace milling inserts with the machine spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out, energy-isolated state per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key to seat the insert screw to the cutter body manufacturer torque specification found in the toolholder documentation. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before seating a new insert. Handle solid carbide inserts carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edges prior to use.
