The KENNAMETAL 4034881 is a solid carbide trigon milling insert with the ANSI/ISO designation WOEJ090512SRHD and manufacturer grade KCPK30. It carries a multilayer CVD coating — TiN, TiCN, and Al2O3 — suited for high-heat cutting environments. The insert features a positive rake angle of 15 degrees, a honed T-Land cutting edge style, and an HD chip breaker geometry. With six usable cutting edges on a double-sided configuration, it delivers extended tool life per insert. Thickness measures 0.2150 inches and the inscribed circle diameter is 0.3510 inches. It is designed for screw-held mounting in compatible milling cutter bodies and is right-hand oriented.
This insert is intended for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium — covering material grade classifications P, M, K, and S. It is compatible with the KenFeed cutter series and suits both roughing and semi-finishing applications where chip control and thermal resistance are priorities. The KCPK30 grade is well-suited for interrupted cuts and demanding workpiece materials that generate high cutting temperatures. Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts.
