The KENNAMETAL 3884483 is a solid carbide replaceable tip drill from the KSEM series, designed for precision hole-making in demanding production environments. The drill tip measures 20.64 mm (0.8126 inches) in cutting diameter with a 140-degree included angle and an AlCr (aluminum chromium) PVD coating applied for extended wear resistance and thermal stability. The tip seats into an KSEM-style holder using a clamp-style insert holding method, making tip changes fast without removing the tool body from the spindle. This style of replaceable tip drill is installed and serviced by machinists and CNC tool-setters in precision machining operations.

This tip is intended for drilling applications in a range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, N, and S.
