The KENNAMETAL 3769055 is a CPMT21505FP cermet turning insert in the KTP10 grade, designed for high-wear-resistance finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a positive rake angle of 15 degrees and a screw-on holding method. The PVD-applied multilayer TiN/TiCN/TiN coating promotes extended edge life at elevated cutting speeds. With a 0.25-inch inscribed circle and a corner radius of approximately 0.008 inches, this insert is built for light, precise finishing cuts with tight tolerances. Two cutting edges are available per insert.

This insert is suited for turning, facing, and boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers in both production and job-shop environments. Its FP chip breaker geometry targets finishing passes where surface finish and dimensional accuracy are the priority.
