The KENNAMETAL 3759084 is a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) milling insert in the EDCT series, designed for high-performance milling of non-ferrous metals. Carrying manufacturer grade KD1410, this single-sided, right-hand insert features a parallelogram shape with an included angle of 70 degrees, a positive rake geometry, and a sharp cutting edge style. It measures 0.4733 inches in length, 0.2650 inches in width, and 0.1476 inches in thickness, with a corner radius of 0.0311 inches (1/32 inch). The flat-top chip breaker and uncoated bright finish are optimized for the clean, precise cuts required in non-ferrous machining applications. Machinists and CNC tooling technicians install this insert using a screw-holding method.
This insert is intended for milling operations on non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper alloys, and similar workpiece materials. It is compatible with the Mill 1-10 cutter series and suits both production and job-shop environments where surface finish and dimensional accuracy on non-ferrous components are critical. The single cutting edge and PCD material grade make it well suited for high-speed finishing passes where tool wear resistance and edge sharpness must be maintained over extended run times.
Designed for use with the Mill 1-10 cutter series. Insert size code 10T308 with an inscribed circle of 0.2650 inches fits toolholders specified for EDCT-series parallelogram inserts within the 0.2500 to 0.3000 inch inscribed circle range.
Installation is performed by CNC machinists or tooling technicians using the screw-holding method standard to EDCT-series insert pockets. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing inserts. Confirm insert pocket cleanliness and seating surface condition before torquing the clamp screw to toolholder manufacturer specifications. Handle PCD inserts carefully — the cutting edge is extremely hard but brittle and can chip if dropped or contacted with ferrous workpieces.
