The KENNAMETAL 3757597 is a solid carbide turning insert in the DNMG333UN geometry, grade KCK20, designed for high-wear-resistance machining of steel and cast iron. It features a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a neutral hand orientation and a negative rake and side clearance configuration. The insert measures 11.63 mm in length with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 3/64-inch corner radius. The PVD-applied multilayer AlTiN and AlCrN coating delivers extended tool life in demanding turning, facing, boring, back turning, and back boring operations. It is part of the KENNAMETAL KENLOC series and conforms to ANSI insert code DNMG333 and ISO insert code DNMG110412.

This insert is suited for roughing and medium machining applications on steel (ISO P workpiece material) and cast iron (ISO K workpiece material). The KCK20 grade provides high wear resistance against steel and a range from high wear resistance to moderate toughness against cast iron. It is held using a clamp or pin method, making it compatible with standard KENLOC-style toolholders used in CNC turning centers and manual lathes across both production and job-shop environments.
