The KENNAMETAL 3757594 is a CNMG-style solid carbide turning insert in the KENLOC series, designed for high-productivity metal removal in turning, facing, and boring operations. It carries a multilayer PVD coating - AlTiN and AlCrN - applied over a carbide substrate graded KCK20, targeting wear resistance and thermal stability at the cutting edge. The insert features a 3/4-inch (0.7500 inch) inscribed circle, a 3/64-inch (0.0469 inch) corner radius, and a 0.2500-inch thickness. With four cutting edges and a neutral hand orientation, it delivers consistent performance across a range of setups. Cutting edge preparation is chamfered and honed for edge integrity under interrupted and continuous cuts.
This insert is suited for machining steel and cast iron workpieces, covering ISO material codes P and K. The UN chip breaker geometry handles turning, facing, and boring applications in both production and job-shop environments. The 80-degree diamond (C) insert shape with a negative rake angle and zero-degree relief provides robust support at the cutting edge, making it appropriate for rigid setups on CNC lathes and turning centers. Maximum depth of cut is 1.25 mm (0.0492 inch).
