The KENNAMETAL 3755689 is a CNMG543MP KCM15 grade carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning, facing, and boring operations. Coated with a multilayer TiCN and Al2O3 CVD coating via MTCVD process, this insert is built for moderate-to-high wear resistance and toughness. It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a neutral hand orientation, and an MP chip breaker geometry suited for roughing and medium machining passes. With four cutting edges and negative rake geometry, it delivers consistent performance across a range of metal-removal applications. This insert is intended for turning, facing, and boring of steel, stainless steel, and superalloys including titanium-bearing workpiece materials.
