The KENNAMETAL 3755635 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CPMT style, designated CPMT2151LF with a KCM15 manufacturer grade. It features a multilayer CVD coating consisting of TiCN and Al2O3 applied via MTCVD process, providing wear resistance on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. The insert has an 80-degree diamond shape, a positive rake angle of 5 degrees, a relief angle of 11 degrees, and a honed cutting edge style. With an inscribed circle of 0.25 inches and a corner radius of 0.0156 inches, it is suited for light finishing passes. Installation uses the screw-on holding method. This insert is intended for turning, facing, and boring applications on steel (material code P), stainless steel (material code M), and superalloys and titanium (material code S).
