The KENNAMETAL 3752176 is a CNMG432RP indexable turning insert in the KCK15 grade, designed for precision material removal on CNC turning centers and manual lathes. It features a multilayer CVD coating stack of TiN, TiCN, and Al2O3 applied via MTCVD process, providing wear resistance and thermal stability during continuous and interrupted cuts. The insert has an 80-degree diamond shape with a negative rake angle of 5 degrees and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style. With 4 usable cutting edges and compatibility with both clamp and pin holding methods, it delivers consistent performance in production turning environments. Machinists and CNC operators in metalworking shops are the primary installers of this insert.
This insert is suited for turning, facing, and boring operations on steel and cast iron workpieces. The RP chip breaker geometry is optimized for medium-duty cuts where chip control and edge stability are priorities. The KENLOC series designation indicates compatibility with Kennametal KENLOC toolholders designed for CNMG-style inserts. Maximum depth of cut is 1.25 mm (0.0492 inches), making this insert well matched to finishing and semi-finishing passes rather than heavy roughing. It conforms to ANSI and ISO standards and carries material grade ratings of C3 and C4.

Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Ensure the insert seat and clamping pocket are clean and free of chips before seating the insert. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to tighten the clamping screw or pin to the toolholder manufacturer's specification; do not overtighten, as this can fracture the carbide insert.
