The KENNAMETAL 3744893 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CPMT3252MP geometry with a KCP25 manufacturer grade. It carries a multilayer CVD coating of TiCN and Al2O3 applied via MTCVD process, providing moderate wear-resistance and toughness suited to steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous materials. The insert measures 9.67 mm (0.3808 inches) in length with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a 1/32-inch corner radius, and an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape.
