The KENNAMETAL 3682513 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ISO designation EDCT10T304PDERLD and manufacturer grade KC522M. Designed for use in indexable milling cutters, this single-sided, right-hand insert features a parallelogram shape with a 70-degree included angle and a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process. The LD chip breaker geometry and positive rake angle help manage chip flow and cutting forces across a range of workpiece materials. At 0.148 inches thick and 0.266 inches wide, this insert seats securely via screw-holding and delivers two cutting edges per insert. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in production and job-shop milling applications.
This insert is engineered for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, and S. The KC522M grade with TiAlN PVD coating is well suited to demanding cuts where heat resistance and edge integrity are priorities. Compatible cutter series is Mill 1-10. The EDCT series insert style and size code 10T304 make this a direct fit for toolholders and cutter bodies specified for EDCT10T3 geometry inserts. Minimum order quantity is 5 pieces; each package contains 1 insert.
Designed for use in KENNAMETAL Mill 1-10 cutter series bodies that accept EDCT10T3 geometry inserts. ISO code EDCT10T304PDERLD and ANSI code EC1004ELD apply. Verify cutter body seat geometry and hand orientation before ordering.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians following machine tool lockout and energy isolation procedures before accessing the cutter body. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key to seat the insert screw to the cutter manufacturer's specified procedure — do not overtighten, as this can fracture the carbide substrate. Inspect the insert pocket for chips or debris before seating a new insert. Always confirm insert hand orientation matches the cutter body before engaging the spindle.
